"SG1 represented their club at the National Cup – South Central Regionals."

SG1 proudly traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma to compete in the prestigious National Cup – South Central Regionals, hosted by US Club Soccer.

As part of the STX Soccer Club League (STX CL), this tournament brought together top-tier teams from across the region for four days of high-level competition, development, and memorable moments.

We are proud to share that several of our SG1 teams not only competed but excelled on the field, showing incredible determination, teamwork, and resilience. Representing SG1 and the Katy, Texas community with pride were:

· 2006/2007 Girls – Coach Jesse

· 2011 Girls – Coach Hans

· 2011 Boys – Coach Alejandro

· 2010 Boys - Coach Alejandro

Each of these teams had several hard-fought victories and standout performances throughout the tournament. Their commitment to excellence both on and off the field was evident in every match they played.

A special recognition goes to Coach Alejandro’s 2010 Boys team, who had an exceptional run all the way to the finals. The team gave a tremendous effort in a challenging championship match. Though they ultimately fell short, their journey was nothing short of inspiring and a proud moment for the entire SG1 community.

We congratulate all of our SG1 players and coaches for their efforts, achievements, and the way they represented our club on a regional stage. These events are not just about competition—they are about growth, character, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
